So, again I haven’t blogged in way too long. I don’t know why, really I have no good excuse. I stopped right before the holidays, so I guess those pictures are WAY over due. I am ready to get back to blogging though. Spring is teasing us here and it is getting me ready to take Kaylee on adventures outside and document it in the blog world. So here is the catch up….
Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving is always fun, but with a baby it is even more so! This year we spent the weekend before Thanksgiving with my (Katie’s) family and actual Thanksgiving with Jon’s family. A good time was had by all.
Christmas:
Kaylee’s first time seeing Santa!
Christmas was busy but great! We spent actual Christmas with my family and went to Jon’s the day after and a few parties here and there before. Kaylee cut her bottom front two teeth right before Christmas. We kept singing her the “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.” song. Kaylee wasn’t too happy about her present of switching from BMilk to formula over Christmas, but after some more weird poops, we decided it was time.

6 months ALREADY??:
Not long after Christmas, our baby girl turned 6 months old! Can you believe that half a year has already flown by?? Here are some pictures of her sixth month of life…
She now can sit unassisted, likes LOVES to eat solid foods, and playa with toys in the bathtub. She is babbling more and more every day and is just a joy to be around. Everyone we know says how good a baby she is and we know we are truly blessed! We love her sooooooooo much!

My Birthday:
Not much to say except I turned 26 and am now officially in my mid twenties! I got a beautiful ring from my husband and an IPod from my parents, and had a great time celebrating!

Valentines Day:
For Valentines this year I wanted to paint over the stripes in our living room. It now looks really good, if I do say so myself. When we were painting over the stripes Jon told me he never really liked them, so it was a good thing all around. Kaylee got a balloon from her Valentine (Daddy)! It still is inflated and she still loves to play with it!

MORE Snow:
It has snowed more times this winter than any I can remember! Here is a video of the largest flakes I have ever seen!

Swimming with the girl!:
We are so blessed with the membership to the YMCA. During all these COLD and snowy months it has been nice to have somewhere to go exercise and play. We took Kaylee in the indoor heated pool and she had a blast! She knows how to kick her feet and hold her breath briefly underwater!

Spring is around the corner!!!:
We have now had a *few* days of warmth and my crocus have bloomed! Kaylee likes flowers as much as I do, but for different reasons I think! Here is her playing with a flower.

So, that brings us to the end of the catch up. I am sure I have left a few things out, but it is time to start with the present. I would say I am going to be regular in blogging now, but who knows if that will really happen. I’ll try though!
Katie
