Getting Ready and our Babymoon

So as I mentioned in a previous post, Jon and I recently went on a vacation (to Barnsley Gardens) to relax before baby Kaylee arrives. It was soo much fun. I loved the pool, spa, and huge claw foot tub. Jon enjoyed fishing in the various ponds. We had so much fun and even got to meet up for dinner with our friends that live in Rome. I have also been trying to get ready for Kaylee to come. I read on Baby Center to freeze meals before you have a baby. I am home and bored so that's just what I've been doing! I have made chili, chicken noodle soup, cowboy soup, meatloaf, sloppy joes, and spaghetti sauce. I think the only other thing I am going to make is chicken casserole. Yum......

This (above) is what my kitchen looks like when I cook.. I am the world's most messy cook! I do come by it honest though. My mom and mammaw cook the same way! (Below is how it should look. )

I know I spelled it wrong on the bag.... I am the world's worst speller! Just ask Jon... He'll tell you!

Last but not least, here is another video of Kaylee moving! She is getting stronger and stronger every day!!!!

Kaylee's 3D Pictures

Here are the pictures of today's 3D ultrasound. The first one is my favortie! I love how she is smiling! What a precious girl! I can't wait to meet her for the first time!

Has it been that long???

I can't believe it has been over two months since I've updated the blog! Ahh!! I guess the end of school got to me more than I thought. Summer is here now and I can rest which I need badly. It is funny how quickly I wear out.

Here's an update of the things that have gone on in the past 2 months:

1: Kaylee Marie has gotten a lot bigger! :) She moves all the time which is fun to watch from the outside. She is hard to catch on tape but here is the best I could get.

2: We (mostly Jon) have put down hardwood floors through our whole house! Jon is like a working machine! He has also built a picnic table for his mom and dad that is super super sturdy and awesome and painted Kaylee's room. (He is dying to make another table, so if you want one let him know! )

3. We have been super blessed with showers galore for Baby Kaylee! I have been spending some time in her room trying to get it all organized and sorted. Here are some pictures from the showers:

4: I have also switched doctors. I am now going to Dr. Brody who is awesome! Thanks to Diana for telling me about him! I go tomorrow for a 3D ultrasound!!! Those pictures will come soon!

Monday we started our birthing classes at the hospital and our good friends Aston and Robert Miles are going to them too! I'll try to update more about this later too! I need to teach Jon how to update the blog for when Kaylee comes! Speaking of Jon, we are going on a "babymoon" next week to a spa resort in Atlanta!!! I can't wait. He has planned for me a rose facial (never had one of these! ), prenatal massage(whooo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!), and a 50min pedicure (my swelling feet are singing! )!
